Wiping

By Kevin Blackmore

Wiping is an ever increasing problem in paintball. What happens is someone gets hit and then they wipe the paint off so they can stay in the game and not be out. Imagined if everyone that paintballed wiped, we would have a huge problem. Luckily most players don't.

The players that wipe are often not very good, so to stay in the game and play they have to wipe. Or sometimes people just get hit in the very beggining of the game and dont want to stay out.

I get the most tempted to wipe when I get sniped (usually by phil). However I still dont wipe. I just think about when I shoot people and I know they wiped but cant prove it. Whenever people do this I usually will lit them up later in the game or bunker them just to get them to stop.

If you wipe there is no place in paintball for you. The game only works if everyone is following the rules. You may get shot out early in the game, but later on you will probably do the same thing to someone else. This is the golden rule, when you shoot someone you expect them to go out, and vise versa.
